SALISBURY, MD--Dr. Benjamin B. Greene, Jr., professor of economics in the Franklin P. Perdue School of Business at Salisbury State University, recently authored an article which appeared in the December 22 issue of the "Journal of Health Care Finance."
Greeneâs article, "Estimating the indirect effect of hospitals via complementary health care firms," describes a methodology of determining the impact the size of a hospital has on the number or business volume of local pharmacies, nursing homes and other health care providers.
