Round Two Voting Open for 'Favorite Vegan-Friendly College'

Favorite Vegan Friendly College ContestSALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University could become the nation’s “Favorite Vegan-Friendly College.”

SU has advanced to the second round of competition for the title, and is still up against seven other campuses in the “small school” category, including the University of North Carolina-Asheville. Round 2 voting ends 5 p.m. Wednesday, February 26.

While SU is dubbed a “newcomer” to the contest, the website description notes that the “Sea Gulls soar over the competition, with student favorites such as vegan pad Thai, vegan quinoa chili, vegan meatballs and marinara, and vegan jambalaya.”

All nominees were selected based on their “A” grade in a Vegan Report Card that surveyed thousands of colleges and universities across the country.
