Mid-Atlantic Review  Inaugural Issue Reading May 3"

SALISBURY, MD---Some 24 Salisbury State University students read from their works on Thursday, May 3, at 8 p.m. in the Montgomery Room of the Commons as part of the Writers-on-the-Shore Spring Literary Festival.

The event is free and the public is invited. A reception follows.

The reading of student works in poetry and fiction celebrates the inaugural issue of SSU’s literary journal, the Mid-Atlantic Review that replaces the Scarab.

“We wanted a new, more professional look for the journal,” said Nicole Vincent, student editor for the Review.

The event is sponsored by the English Department as well as Multiethnic Student Services, the Fulton School Visiting Speaker and Artist Fund, the Mid-Atlantic Review and the departments of Communication Arts, History, Political Science and Sociology.
