'Vagina Monologues' Proceeds Benefit Life Crisis Center

SALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University students recently contributed more than $3,000 to the Life Crisis Center following their recent production of Eve Ensler’s The Vagina Monologues as part of SU’s Women’s History Month celebration.

Students Kimmie Lennon and Erika Mitry directed the performance, proceeds from which benefited the Life Crisis Center. The play is based on over 200 interviews of diverse groups of women from around the world, exploring violence against women, a taboo subject, with hilarity and heartbreak. Dr. Chrys Egan and Jennifer Hart of the Communication and Theatre Arts Department sponsored the performance. For more information call 410-543-6030 or visit the SU Web site at www.salisbury.edu. "
