SU's Annual Holiday Gift Bazaar Runs Through December 20

SALISBURY, MD---International and domestic artworks are spotlighted during Salisbury University’s annual Holiday Gift Bazaar, November 5-December 20 in the Atrium Gallery of the Guerrieri University Center.

This year’s bazaar features hand-made glass art, Oaxacan wood carvings, Tonala ceramics, and traditional folk art, as well as Mexican and original pottery. Sterling silver and hand-made African jewelry, African animal wood carvings, Chinese paper cuttings, hand-blown glass mermaids, glass ship ornaments, Putumayo world music CDs, computer accessories and a collection of games and toys also are available, along with local artist’s paintings and prints.

Overstock from previous years has been reduced by 25, 40, and 75%, while much of the merchandise is already marked down below original wholesale costs. Proceeds from this year’s event benefit University Galleries’ exhibitions and events. Holiday Gift Bazaar hours are 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday-Friday.
