SU Hosts HR Accreditation Preparation Course

SALISBURY, MD---Professionals seeking preparation for the Human Resources Certification Institute’s (HRCI) national examinations for Professional in Human Resources and Senior Professional in Human Resources accreditation may find help through a 10-week preparation course sponsored by the Eastern Shore Society of Human Resources Managers and the Center for Professional Development at Salisbury University.

The course offers a comprehensive approach and covers all major areas of human resource management. While the course’ main goal is to prepare participants for the December HRCI exams, anyone seeking advancement, career change, enhancement or general information is welcome to attend.

The course is scheduled from 6-9 p.m. Mondays, September 8-November 24, in the Montgomery Room of SU’s Commons. The September 15 class meets in the Worcester Room of the Commons.

Topics include strategic management, workforce planning, human resource development, compensation and benefits, employee and labor relations, and occupational health and safety. Participants completing the course receive three continuing education units.
