Filmmaker Rick Ray Screens '10 Questions for the Dalai Lama' at SU

Dali Lama and Rick RaySALISBURY, MD---Rick Ray has produced 12 films in more than 35 countries, including Borneo, Iceland, Syria, Ethiopia and India. His most recent feature, “10 Questions for the Dalai Lama,” takes him to Tibet, where he explores the breathtaking landscape as well as the spiritual lives of its inhabitants, culminating in an interview with the Dalai Lama himself.

Salisbury University welcomes Ray for a talk and a screening of his new film 7 p.m. Monday, December 3, in the Wicomico Room of the Guerrieri University Center.

“10 Questions for the Dalai Lama” has already enjoyed national acclaim.  According to the New York Times, the film “expertly merges the mystical and the mundane.”  The Austin Chronicle calls it “informative and challenging, touching on issues of free speech, modernity, democracy, and globalism.”
