Egyptian Musician Mohamed Kazem Performs Monday, May 2"

class=""MsoNormal"">SALISBURY, MD---Mohamed Kazem, Egyptian diplomat and musician performs, 7 p.m., Monday, May 2, in the Wicomico Room of the Guerrieri University Center as part of Salisbury University’s Multicultural Festival.

class=""MsoNormal"">Kazem, who holds a doctorate in public diplomacy, is on assignment to the Euro-Arab Foundation in Spain, an organization focused on the socio-economic and educational development of Arab nations and their citizens.

class=""MsoNormal"">His performance, part of the World Artists Experience (WAE) Ambassadors’ Series, combines diplomacy, lyrics and music to create art. Several instrumentalists provide musical accompaniment.

class=""MsoNormal"">Focused on the universal themes of hopes, fears, ambitions, frustrations, insecurity and the dream of peace and love, Kazem’s songs are presented in three languages.

class=""MsoNormal"">The WAE is a Maryland-based organization that promotes cultural appreciation and diversity through the arts.
