Children's Theatre Ensemble

SALISBURY, MD--- The Children’s Theatre Ensemble(CTE)of Salisbury University is starting its second season with the musical fairy tale, The Prince, the Pig and the Peevish Princess by Nagle Jackson with music and lyrics by Mary Outten.

The Prince, the Pig and the Peevish Princess, adapted from The Swineherd by Hans Christian Andersen, was originally produced in Santa Fe in summer 2000. Performances are at 7 p.m. Thursday and Friday, February 7-8; and 1 and 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, February 9-10, in the Fulton Hall Theatre. Tickets are $5.

Admission is free with an SU I.D. Reservations are required; call the SU Theatre Box Office at 410-543-6228.

Created and directed by Pat Ambler-Perry, CTE is committed to bringing theatre to children on the Eastern Shore through full-length stage productions, adaptations of children’s literature, and acting, improvisation and mask-making workshops for the community. All productions are performed by SU students and/or alumni.

The 2001/2002 CTE roster/performers include Jessica Banner, Chrissy Moore, Adam Lehman, Amber Wilkerson, Justin Gallo, Brandon Palm, Lindsay Smith, Constance Mensh, Nicole Montenet, Gregg Pica, Jennifer Livingston and Leigh Usilton.
