Child Care Resource Center Open House October 1

SALISBURY, MD---Months after state budget cuts threatened to close the Lower Shore Child Care Resource Center, its officials host an open house at its new location in the Power Professional Building Suite 500 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, October 1.

Salisbury University provided space for the center in the professional building at the intersection of Wayne and Power streets. Center Director Karen Goldman commended SU officials for reaching out to the community beyond its own student population.

“I am thrilled that we will continue to serve the parents, children and child care providers of the Lower Shore,” she said.

The open house offers food, vendors and giveaways and affords community members the opportunity to see the center’s new facilities.
