Brown Bag Speaker Dieng Explores King's Universal Reach

SALISBURY, MD---Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was a force for change in the United States. Yet, his belief in justice is shared not only in this country, but universally.

Dr. Cheikh Ahmadou Dieng, Fulbright Professor in Residence at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, explores the international reach of King’s message as he presents “The Universal Dimension of Martin Luther King’s Fight for Justice” at noon Tuesday, November 1, in the University Gallery of Salisbury University’s Fulton Hall.

Dieng is a professor in the English Department of Cheikh Anta Diop University in Senegal, Africa. His talk is part of the Charles R. and Martha N. Fulton School of Liberal Arts’ monthly Brown Bag Lunch Discussion Series.
