Applications Available for Summer Center Counselors

SALISBURY, MD---The Maryland Summer Center for the Arts at Salisbury University is seeking people who enjoy the arts and working with young people to serve as counselors during this year’s two-week session, July 7-22.

This unique residential program offers intensive study of the fine and performing arts to students entering grades 7-12. Summer Center counselors help young people build social, interpersonal and artistic skills while exploring a variety of art forms, collaborating with talented professionals and attending high-caliber performances.

Outstanding counselor applicants are active in the arts, have experience with young people, possess strong leadership skills, work well in a team and radiate a positive, enthusiastic personality. Salary is $1,100 plus room and board.
