SU Art Galleries Hosts 'Shifting Landscapes' Exhibit

Sabrina RatteSALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University Art Galleries hosts the exhibit “Shifting Landscapes” by artist Sabrina Ratté from November 15-March 29 in the Electronic Gallery, Conway Hall Room 128.

An artist talk with Ratté is 5:30 p.m. Thursday, March 28, in Conway Hall Room 156.

Based in Montreal and Paris, Ratté investigates the fine line between virtual and physical realms from utopian architecture to painterly textures through single-channel videos, installations, sculptures, live performances and prints. Her SU exhibit focuses on her video work.

Ratté has exhibited at galleries and art fairs throughout North America and Europe. Her accolades include grants from Egypt’s Senghor University and a gold medal for audio-visual performance at Jeux de la Francophonie in Africa’s Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, as well as residencies in Paris, Germany and Canada.

Gallery hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Thursday, noon-4 p.m. Friday-Saturday, closed holidays.
