FUNday Music Events

SALISBURY, MD -- Music fills the air of Salisbury State University's FUNday, the campus' 75th birthday celebration for the Eastern Shore. From 11 a.m.-3 p.m., "Concerts in the Gazebo," behind the Guerrieri University Center, features the acoustic sounds of local bands and pleasing voices of campus and community choral groups. The Gazebo concerts are hosted by SSU history faculty member Wayne Ackerson. Also from 11 a.m.-3 p.m., on the front lawn of Holloway Hall, four distinct bands will rock you and roll you.

From noon-1:30 p.m., the Salisbury Symphony Youth Orchestra holds an open rehearsal conducted by Dr. Thomas G. Elliot in Holloway Hall Auditorium playing a more traditional repertoire.
