Future Educators of America Conference

SALISBURY, MD--The Eastern Shore chapter of Phi Delta Kappa is sponsoring a conference for members of Future Educators of America chapters from Lower Shore high schools on Thursday, November 19, from 8:45 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Commons at Salisbury State University.

Aaron Deal, a teacher at East Salisbury Elementary School in Wicomico County and the keynote speaker, will discuss "Molding the Lives of Tomorrrow." Participants will hear about education as a college major by a panel of education majors from SSU and the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. There will be by Jason Simms, assistant dean of admissions at SSU, on college admissions as well as several workshops presented by faculty and students from SSU, UMES and Wicomico County public schools.
