Three Student Organizations Host 'Rally For Change' Oct. 8

SALISBURY, MD---Three Salisbury University student organizations host a “Rally for Change” noon-2 p.m. Friday, October 8 in Red Square. Rain location is the Wicomico Room of the Guerrieri University Center. The event features music by Suzanna Mallow of Red Letter Day, local funk band Dr. Jones and rock bands Ever Since Radio and Anon. Speakers include Jayson Williams, field organizer for U.S. Senator Barbara A. Mikulski’s campaign; Maryland Victory 2004 representative Ryan Ewing; and a volunteer from the League of Conservation Voters. Organizers present information on the Kerry/Edwards presidential campaign. The Environmental Students Association, College Democrats and Campus Greens—collectively known as the Kerry Coalition—sponsor the event. The rally is free and the public is invited.
