TurningPoint @ Salisbury
University
SPRING 2010
CLICKER ADOPTION FORM

WHAT IS
TURNINGPOINT?
TurningPoint is the student response system
in use at Salisbury University.
Through Microsoft PowerPoint, it can
create interactive presentations for
use in clicker-ready classrooms on campus. It allows
faculty members to collect, evaluate
and record students' responses instantly.
SUPPORT FOR
TURNINGPOINT
Faculty can receive support for TurningPoint from Teaching
and Learning Resources in TETC Suite 213 or contact
Robin Hoffman for
more information. Students can receive clicker support from the
University Help Desk.
CURRENT CLICKER VERSION
SU uses the TurningPoint 2008 v4.0 and the RCRF-01 clicker.
TurningPoint clickers use two CR2032 batteries, which should
last 6 months to a year with normal usage.
TURNINGPOINT LICENSE
TurningPoint 2008 v4.0 is installed on all classroom
computers that are clicker-ready
and is licensed for use in each classroom. Instructors will also
need a copy of TurningPoint on their office computer to create
TurningPoint-enabled presentations, which can be downloaded
here. The downloadable version of the software can only be
used for creating and testing questions, as it is only licensed
for use with up to five clickers.
