Information Systems students prepare to support the successful implementation and management of Information Systems in organizations by studying not only technical topics such as programming, database, data communications, and Web design, but also business topics such as Accounting, Marketing, Management, and Finance.  Students in other areas of business or other university majors may also choose to minor in Information Systems, which can increase their career options and add value for potential employers.
