Parking Permit Purchases

New students and upperclassmen will have the opportunity to purchase a parking permit. All parking permits (except Motorcycle permits) must be purchased online. The permit cost will be posted to the student account.

A limited number of parking garage and main campus parking permits will be available for upgrades. The permits will be available on a first-come, first-served basis as follows:

Monday, June 15th, 8 am: Undergraduate students with 90 or more credits, graduate students or graduate assistants.

Monday, June 22nd, 8 am: Undergraduate students with 60 or more credits

Monday, June 29th, 8 am: Undergraduate students with 30 or more credits

Once the allotment of permits is depleted for a particular area/permit type, sales for that permit type will stop.

Upgrading a Permit

If you purchased a parking permit during the Fall 2015 semester, you may upgrade in January 2016 to a different permit. Upgrades will be available for purchase online starting in January, 2016.  In order to upgrade a parking permit, you will need to access your GullNet account and follow navigation path: Self-Service>Campus Finances>Upgrade my Parking Permit. You will only be able to select permit types for which you are eligible. If any of those permit types have been sold out at the time of your purchase, it will be noted on the screen. The difference in price will be placed on your GullNet student account.

Once you have completed the online permit upgrade process, you will receive a confirmation e-mail. Please print this confirmation page and bring it with you to Parking Services, Holloway Hall Room 219, along with your previous permit (even if it is in pieces) to obtain your new upgraded parking decal.

Purchasing a Permit

If you did not purchase a permit during the Fall or Winter semesters, you may purchase a permit by accessing your GullNet account and following navigation path: Self-Service>Campus Finances>Register for a Parking Permit. The parking permit charge will be placed on your GullNet student account. Freshman students (0-29 earned credits) and students interested in evening-only or east campus permits may sign up starting June 15, 2015.

When purchasing a permit online, please select your desired parking option on the GullNet “Register for a Parking Permit” page. You will only be able to select permit types for which you are eligible. If any of those permit types have been sold out at the time of your purchase, it will be noted on the screen and you may choose another option. Once you have completed the online permit registration process, you will receive a confirmation e-mail.

Upon completion of the online portion of the process, take a copy of the following to the Parking Services Office located in Holloway Hall, Room 219 to complete the vehicle registration process and receive your Parking sticker:

  1. Your printed confirmation e-mail,
  2. Your Driver’s License, and
  3. Your Vehicle Registration Card.

If you have any questions or need additional information, please call Parking Services at 410-543-6338 or 410-543-6060.

2015-2016 Permit sales are purchased online beginning June 15, 2015 based on class standing (i.e., credits earned at the time of purchase). Click on the “Parking Permit Purchase & Vehicle Registration Form” in the left margin above.
