SALISBURY, MD---Time is running out for those wishing to enter Salisbury University’s annual Sea Gull Century art contest.

The annual Sea Gull Century print is a tradition “almost as revered as the Century bike ride itself,” said Amy Waters, Century coordinator. Entry deadline is noon Thursday, February 15. The Sea Gull Century Committee will complete its review of submissions by Wednesday, February 27.

The winning print will be reproduced and sold during the 19th annual Sea Gull Century on October 6 and be used in promotional materials prior to the ride. The winner receives $1,000.

Acceptable media include oil, acrylic, watercolor and combinations thereof. All entries must include a label on the back with the artist’s name, address, telephone number and title or location of the painting.
