Eclatante Duo Performs Sunday, February 5

SALISBURY, MD---The duo Eclatante, featuring Washington, D.C., harpist Melissa Tardiff Dvorak and flutist Sharon Woster Pabon, performs 2 p.m. Sunday, February 5, in the Great Hall of Holloway Hall at Salisbury University.

The performance marks the duo’s third at SU. Dvorak is a native of Salisbury.

An active soloist and chamber music musician, Dvorak performed at the world premiere of the film Gods and Generals and in private concert for the ambassador of Spain. She also has appeared with touring bands for singers Anne Murray and Connie Francis and performed at the U.S. Supreme Court, Kennedy Center and U.S. Naval Academy. She holds a Master of Music in harp performance from the Peabody Conservatory of Music and conducts a harp ensemble in Salisbury.

Pabon is the first-place winner of the Mid–Atlantic Flute Fair Collegiate Soloist competition and has performed at venues including the Baltimore Museum of Art, the U.S. Capitol and Oriole Park at Camden Yards. She maintains a private flute studio in Silver Spring, MD, and provides lessons for the D.C. Youth Orchestra Program. She received a Bachelor of Music in flute performance from the Catholic University of America and a Master of Music in flute performance from the Peabody Conservatory of Music.
