Dinner Features Latin American Favorites October 27

class=""MsoNormal"">SALISBURY, MD---Cuisine from south of the border is highlighted when Salisbury University Dining Services presents its Latin American inspired dinner 5-7 p.m. Thursday, October 27, in the Bistro of the Commons.

class=""MsoNormal"">The menu includes albondigas (meatballs in garlic-tomato sauce), ropa vieja (shredded beef), arrozo con pollo (chicken and rice stew), patatas con chorizo (potatoes with chorizo), gallo pinto (rice and black beans), ensalada do repollo (cabbage salad), garbanzos con espinacas (chickpeas and spinach), championonese al ajillo (mushroom in garlic sauce), frijoles verdes con ajo y tomate (saut?ed green beans with garlic and tomato), crusty bread, tarta e santago (almond pound cake with brown-sugared peaches), dulce de leche (milk caramel), trembeque (coconut rice pudding with soy milk) and mock sangria. Sponsored by Dining Services and the Office of Cultural Affairs, the cost is $8.95 plus tax for adults, $5.50 plus tax for children ages 6 to 12. Children under five dine free.
