2014 Fall

  • CMAT 100-151 FUND OF COMMUNICATION
    Surveys the skills necessary to articulate oneself effectively in a variety of communication settings. Topics include interpersonal relationship, formal and informal groups, and public forums with a primary focus on basic presentation skills. Designed for non-communication arts majors and minors. Three hours per week with enhancement. Meets General Education IIIA and IIIC (Prior to Fall 2008: IB).

    Study of the factors that motivate and determine communication or non-communication among individuals, of the psychological barriers and inducements to open communication and of the effects of these factors upon the people involved. Three hours per week with enhancement. Meets General Education IIIA or IIIC (Prior to Fall 2008: IB).
