Job Title: Administrative Assistant

Job Description: Our local insurance office has an opening for an administrative position beginning before January 1. This is a part-time position for 16-24 hours a week.

Duties include:
- Completing, reviewing, and proofreading various paperwork
- Coordinating sales leads and call lists
- General computer troubleshooting, e.g. Windows, Office Suite, some Internet/network connectivity
- Compiling weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales reports and contests
- Supporting and providing superior service via phones, e-mails, and faxes as a receiver and caller
- Maintaining workflow by studying methods, implementing cost reductions, and developing procedures
- Ensuring operation of office equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, calling for repairs, maintaining equipment inventories, evaluating new equipment and techniques
- Maintaining supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing and expediting orders for supplies, are verifying receipt of supplies
- Sorting emails, reviewing resumes, scheduling interviews
- Performing general administrative functions

Pay: Based on experience.
