The Washington Redskins are seeking qualified individuals to join the Community Relations/Charitable Foundation Department as an Intern. The right individual will be able to work as part of a team or individually. The ideal candidate will be able to receive college credit for a year-long internship experience; however, exceptional applicants only available for one semester internships will still be considered. Overview of Washington Redskins Charitable Foundation and Community Relations Department Founded in 2000 by Daniel M. Snyder, the mission of the Washington Redskins Charitable Foundation is to utilize the assets of the NFL franchise and its corporate and community partners to make a positive and measurable impact on youth development in the greater Washington, DC region in the areas of education, community outreach, and health and wellness. The mission of the Washington Redskins Community Relations Department is to be responsive to the needs of the community while also making a positive and significant impact through community programs, events, and the support of area nonprofits. Fall Internship Responsibilities (August – December) Assist coordinating and implementing Charitable Foundation and Community Relations Department programs and events including, but not limited to: Spring Internship Responsibilities (January – May) Assist coordinating and implementing Charitable Foundation and Community Relations Department programs and events including, but not limited to: Summer Internship Responsibilities (May – August) Assist coordinating and implementing Charitable Foundation and Community Relations Department programs and events including, but not limited to: Intern Candidate Requirements: Reports to: Director, Community & Charitable Programs If you wish to become a part of this dynamic, fast-paced organization and you meet the requirements listed above, please apply by submitting a cover letter and resume.
