Internship Duties:
Experience how a local law firm operates by shadowing attorney; learn day-to-day operations
Witness ethics, compliance and business conduct issues pertaining to the legal field
Learn time management requirements when working with individual clients
Assist with case management by conducting legal research and writing
Develop presentation and research skills
Learn the elements of and assist in the execution of a legal case for clients
Become familiar with and use court databases
Participate in court observations
Assist in needs anaylsis for cases and or projects; in research for solutions for needs
Create and publish interactive reports and assist in preparing legal documents
Understand the basic target marketing of legal services
Gain substantial knowledge into our industry
Develop planning, organizational and time management skills
Develop interpersonal skills in order to communicate with legal professionals and clients
Develop professionalism skills
