Job Title: Grad Assistant for Wellness & Greek Life

Job Description:
The Office of Student Activities is seeking a GA to assist in planning, developing, and presenting wellness programs and initiatives for students in promotion of positive health behaviors. In addition, the GA will serve as a contact person for fraternity and sorority leaders to answer questions regarding policies and procedures, In this capacity, the GA will develop and provide leadership for the development of programmatic initiatives related to Greek Life including but not limited to such areas as risk management issues, scholarships, chapter development, recruitment, planning and responsibility. The GA will work 20 hours per week during regular business hours with occasional hours outside of this schedule. OSAOL seeks an individual with a good work ethic, exceptional written and oral communication skills, and a commitment to issues related to wellness. The individual will also have prior experience in or knowledge of Greek Life. The GA must be self-motivated and able to function effectively with minimal supervision. The candidate must be an energetic, self-motivated team player with sound judgment, management and problem-solving skills, flexibility and the ability to manage multiple projects. The candidate should be proficient in Microsoft Office and have a strong commitment to customer service and the advancement of students. This is a one-year position with the possibility of renewal. Candidates may have the opportunity to begin earlier than the fall semester with spring or summer hours.
