Peer Review & Project Discussions
Well-designed peer review practices can help students write more effectively. However, peer review is also something that we need to put some time and effort into setting up in order for it to be effective.
Peer Review can be integrated into a course in a variety of ways. It can be used for exchanging feedback about ideas during the invention stage in the writing process, it can be used to test out a newly learned skill, like integrating or citing a source correctly, and it can be used more holistically to evaluate a draft and to develop a plan for revision.
