All About the Academy:
Who? What? Why?

The Academy for Leadership in Education is designed for educators who are considering an administrative career path and for administrators who desire to improve their leadership skills. Staffed by nationally recognized authorities and consultants in the field of business and educational leadership, the Academy is a year-long, six-part series of in-depth training sessions. Through a variety of teaching and learning formats, participants will develop their personal skills and strategies as leaders with vision, knowledge and insight into the challenges of being exceptional educational leaders. Participants will receive a certificate for successful completion of the Academy.

Mission of the Academy

Salisbury University, the Seidel School of Education and Professional Studies, and the Center for Professional Development, collaborating with educators from the Academy for Leadership in Education logoEastern Shore school districts and the Greater Salisbury Committee, have partnered to create an Academy for Leadership in Education. The mission of this Academy is to provide a quality learning experience for aspiring leaders in the education world.
