SBY Business Journal: SU Hosts Nursing, Paramedic Students from Scotland
Salisbury University’s College of Health and Human Services (CHHS) continues to expand the global perspective in its highly ranked nursing program. The CHHS recently hosted a group of nursing and paramedic students from the University of Stirling, Scotland, for a week-long residency, allowing them to learn about health care in the U.S. The University of Stirling has been a long-time study abroad partner with SU. The academic program was centered at SU’s Richard A. Henson Medical Simulation Center, involving a collaboration of multiple faculty from the School of Nursing.

OC Today-Dispatch: Berlin Entrepreneurs Receive SU Ratcliffe Shore Hatchery Competition Funding
A trio of Berlin businesses will be able to grow after winning grants through Salisbury University's Philip E. and Carole R. Ratcliffe Foundation Shore Hatchery entrepreneurship competition. They included the Science Nerds, Iron Skillet Coffee and Mandala Pies. The goal of Shore Hatchery is to reward individuals for their entrepreneurial efforts in the creation and growth of businesses, with the potential of positively impacting regional employment within three years.
