Mike Koval presented a paper titled “How Shorebilly Brewing Company Won the Trademark Battle but Lost the War: A Cautionary Tale for Entrepreneurs” at the national conference of the Academy of Legal Studies in Business held in San Juan, Puerto Rico, in August.

Hong Yao, Ying Wu and Kathie Wright were invited to give summer lectures in June at the School of International Business of Dongbei University of Finance and Economics (DUFE) – one of SU’s partner schools in China. According to the DUFE assistant dean, students gave these well-received lectures “superior evaluations.”
Ying Wu was invited to give two seminars on the Chinese economy for BNUBS-IBS International Summer School at Beijing Normal University (BNU) attended by 33 international students from Australia, Brazil, Chile, South Africa and United Kingdom. (Picture below)
