PBL Attends National Conference
Phi Beta Lambda (PBL) attended their first National Leadership Conference from June 23-28 in San Antonio, TX. With 11,000 PBL students from all over the country competing in 80 chosen events, Salisbury PBL was proud to represent the Perdue School of Business.
This six-day conference was filled with workshops hosted by successful business leaders, including Dr. Randal Pinkett, season 4 winner of The Apprentice. Some workshop topics included networking, leadership, personal growth and resume building.
PBL members competed in the following: Stefan Antony - Sales Presentation and Retail Management; Michelle Arias - Marketing and International Business; John Buntz - Accounting Principles and Microeconomics; Erlin Garcia - Business Presentation and Public Speaking; Trevor Hirsch - Sports Marketing and Management; Tracee Le - Business Presentation and Business Law; Gloria Majchrzak - Leadership; Sharona Russell - Telecommunications; and Austin Whitehead - Accounting Principles and Business Law.
John Buntz placed sixth nationally in Accounting Principles and seventh nationally in Microeconomics. Trevor Hirsch placed third nationally in Sports Marketing and Management.
