SALISBURY, MD--Dr. Stephen Gehnrich of the Department of Biological Sciences at Salisbury State University gave a presentation at a recent meeting of the Western Front Association in Edgewood, MD.
Gehnrich presented a synopsis of his recent trip to study American World War I battlefields in France, including Belleau Wood, the Meuse-Argonne and Blanc Mont. Gehnrich also recently attended a symposium in Wichita, KS, which examined how World War I has shaped the culture of the 20th century.
Gehnrich is the secretary/treasurer of the U.S. Branch of the Western Front Association, an international organization dedicated to the study and remembrance of World War I.
