New Music Salisbury Concert Highlights Faculty, Students Mar. 30SALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University faculty and students showcase new and experimental works during the concert New Music Salisbury 7 p.m. Thursday, March 30, in the Great Hall of Holloway Hall.
Performers include Dr. Danielle Cumming, Kara Dahl Russell, Jerry Tabor and the SU Percussion Ensemble.
Cumming plays 20th-century guitar solos “Serenade” and “Toccata” by Russian composer Sofia Gubaidulina. Russell performs selections from Alain Abbott’s Cinq Couleurs (Five Colors) for lever harp and Jean-Michele Damase’s “Poissons” (“Fish”) for pedal harp.
