Alpha Phi Omega Donates to Diakonia Shelter Through Line of Hope Clothing Drive
SALISBURY, MD---The Alpha Phi Omega service fraternity at Salisbury University recently hosted its second annual Line of Hope clothing drive for Ocean City’s Diakonia emergency and transitional shelter.
Organizers planned the campus event throughout April to provide support and raise awareness of the local homeless population. SU students and staff supported the drive by donating more than 1,100 gently used clothing items.
SU’s Alpha Alpha Delta chapter of Alpha Phi Omega is part of a co-ed national service fraternity whose purpose is to develop leadership, promote friendship and provide service to the University and the surrounding community. For more information on the chapter visit www.su-apo.wix.com/aad-chapter.
