SU Art Galleries Presents 'Colors and Things' February 6-March 29
SALISBURY, MD---To chase those winter blues away, the SU Art Galleries presents the lively exhibition “Colors and Things” February 6-March 29 at the University Gallery of Salisbury University’s Fulton Hall.
Artists Allie Rex (Brooklyn, NY), Mary Anne Arntzen (Baltimore) and Nathan Green (Dallas, TX) playfully question form and meaning through their abstract works. These artists weave together the illusory and the actual creating ecstatic patterns and happy accidents.
Green will be on campus the first week in February, creating new, site-specific murals in the gallery. An artist lecture with Green is 5 p.m. Thursday, February 6, in Fulton Hall Room 111, followed by a reception in the gallery at 6 p.m.
Sponsored by University Art Galleries, admission is free and the public is invited. Gallery hours are noon-6 p.m. Wednesday-Friday, noon-4 p.m. Saturday, other times by appointment.
