ShoreCorps/PALS Hosts Open Houses May 11 and 17

class=""MsoNormal"">SALISBURY, MD---ShoreCorps/PALS (Partnership for Adolescents on the Lower Shore), an AmeriCorps agency at Salisbury University, hosts open houses 1-3:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 11, and Tuesday, May 17, at the Camden House at 1212 Camden Ave. Refreshments will be served.

class=""MsoNormal"">ShoreCorps/PALS seeks individuals of all abilities age 20 and older, including those with physical or cognitive disabilities to join the national service movement. Members serve at-risk youth as tutors, mentors and program aides for one year starting in September. They earn a living stipend ($10,600 full-time, $5,300 part-time), an education award ($4,725 full-time, $2,363 part-time) and six tuition-free college credits.
