AmeriCorps Announces Upcoming Open Houses at SU

SALISBURY, MD---ShoreCorps/PALS at Salisbury University hosts an Open House at the Camden House, 1212 Camden Avenue, from 2:30-4:30 p.m. Monday, April 12.

Working in connection with the AmeriCorps national service initiative, ShoreCorps/PALS provides service opportunities for people of all abilities age 20 and up. Members serve at-risk youth as tutors, mentors and program aides for one year. In return, they earn a living stipend, an education award and six tuition-free college credits.

Additional Open Houses are scheduled at the Camden House during the following dates:

Tuesday, April 20 – noon-2 p.m.

Wednesday, April 28 – 2:30-4:30 p.m.

Monday, May 3 – noon-2 p.m.

Tuesday, May 11 – 2:30-4:30 p.m.

Thursday, May 20 – noon-2 p.m.
