December 2014
Cindy Causey
Cindy Causey
Program Management Specialist
Athletics
Cindy was nominated by a member of Administration, because of her positive attitude, excellent organizational skills and unrelenting initiative. Cindy has the distinct ability to anticipate problems and successfully resolve matters while being very supportive of the team. The nomination indicated, “The grace and ease with which Cindy juggles her myriad of duties with the non-stop interruptions from staff, students, colleagues, members of the public, etc. in a fast paced environment is second to none.” In the spring, Athletics concurrently hosted several rounds of NCAA post season tournaments. “Cindy went above and beyond her normal duties by playing a leadership role in coordinating lodging, meeting arrangements, informational packets, payment of workers, dining services needs and served as a point person for communication with officials, teams, parents, fans and NCAA representatives. For her efforts, we [Athletics] received many compliments from visitors regarding the first class manner in which we conducted our hosting duties.” In closing, the nomination stated, “Cindy truly epitomizes what we would consider a model employee in our organization.”
