Cynthia Nichols

Brian Polkinghorn, CADR Professor, submitted a nomination for Cynthia’s extraordinary dedication and pleasant demeanor. In the nomination letter, Brian specifically noted how meticulously Cynthia has cleaned the CADR house which is utilized by over a dozen center members. Her dedication to the task did not go unnoticed as “Cynthia is a part of our group and we appreciate her major contribution to making this work environment clean, attractive and safe. We look forward to seeing her each day as she dutifully undertakes her work in a cheerful and pleasant manner.” It was also noted that in addition to the impact on the physical environment, Cynthia has also made an impact on the Center in that “she has altered our perspective” so now when we see that dirt has been tracked in, we take the initiative to clean it up. “We do this because everyone is more conscious of the high standards Cynthia has set which are good for everyone.” In closing Brian added, “Our admiration for Cynthia through her hard work and dedication is recognized and appreciated by all of us.”
