Employee Recognition Program

Employees of the Month

February 2013
Leigh Ann Taylor
Leigh Ann Taylor
Administrative Assistant II
Admissions Office
Leigh Ann received a nomination from Mr. Aaron Basko, AVP of Enrollment Management, for her commitment to constant improvement and superior results. In his nomination letter, Mr. Basko specifically noted Leigh Ann’s involvement in “delivering a quality visit experience to thousands of students and parents who walk through our doors each year.” In addition to arranging group tours (to include as many as 70 bus groups) and information sessions, Leigh Ann assumed the coordination of five admissions open house programs. Leigh Ann’s contribution to the visit experience included re-engineering initiatives which can be linked, in part, to “the strong surge of applications” and SU’s Rugg’s Recommendations list of “Magic Dream Schools – campuses that you visit and fall in love with.” Attached to the nomination were several notes from campus visitors proclaiming their individual excellent experiences and the superior representation of staff and student tour guides, attributed to Leigh Ann. In closing, Mr. Basko stated “the first impression that visitors have when they come to campus is the lifeblood of the University’s enrollment, and we are fortunate indeed to have Leigh Ann in that critical position.”
