Weather has been a passion of mine since a very young age.  Today, I get to give the weather forecast every morning in Washington, D.C. on ABC7 News.

I graduated Salisbury University in 2009 with a degree in Earth and Atmospheric Science and Communications.  The Geography and Geosciences department provided challenging and engaging courses.  I developed a rapport with my professors and classmates that made my college experience more fulfilling.  I especially liked the competitive nature of the weather forecasting contest that allowed me to practice my weather forecasting skills, while competing with fellow professors, classmates, and local broadcast meteorologists in the area.

I landed my first on-air job one month after graduating at Salisbury's CBS affiliate, WBOC-TV.  Two years later, I landed my dream job at ABC7 News in Washington, D.C.

The DoGG provided a strong foundation for my career.  I would not be where I am today without the hard work and dedication of the professors in the department, who I still keep in touch with to this day!
