1. National Museum of Civil War Medicine - I am a member and on the Board of Directors of the National Museum of Civil War Medicine in Frederick, MD, along with its 2 satellite locations. I conduct research in this area, write frequent articles and present many talks, both at or for the museum and independently.
2. Delaware 4-H Youth Development - I coordinate the Sussex County 4-H Archery program with its various events, conduct the monthly shoots, and deliver the required safety training. I am a judge at the Delaware State Fair, was the State 4-H Camp Nurse for 11 years, give numerous talks, and have held numerous offices and committee memberships.
3. Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing - Having served as a past President and Vice President of the Lambda Eta chapter (SU local chapter), I am now the Newsletter Editor. I serve at the Regional level on the Planning Committee for the Tri-State Consortium. At the International level I have sponsored 2 resolutions, served on an International Taskforce, and served in the House of Delegates 4 times.
