To motivate students to learn and grow, providing an atmosphere that is conducive to excelling, utilizing various methods of teaching tools and strategies to enhance and facilitate the learning environment. My philosophy tends me towards sociocultural learning theories that are student centered, collaborative and fosters critical thinking. I serve my profession with passion and diligence to contribute to the overall successful preparedness of the novice nurse, the promotion of community health and well-being along with the advancement of the art and science of nursing through theory and evidence-based practices. I approach each provision of care encounter with newness, the good medicine of laughter, compassion and care. My personal motto; "I can't be a business as usual nurse in a business that is not usual"
