Bio
I am a native of Iowa but was raised an Air Force brat so I have lived all over the world. My Dad retired in 1980 in Southern CA, so I spent 23 years in CA. I attended the University of Redlands (a small but prestigious liberal arts school about 60 miles east of LA) for my BA and MA and received my doctorate from the Claremont Graduate University in Education in 1993. I have been an educator my entire career. I have taught high school social studies and drama, coached several sports, and spent nine years as an administrator including being a high school principal and district superintendent. I have been on the faculty at Salisbury University since 2007.
