While many of their contemporaries were sunning themselves in Florida and more tropical locations this March, a group of 21 Salisbury University students spent their spring break in New Orleans, assisting the area as it continues to rebuild from the devastation of 2005’s Hurricane Katrina. Led by a Graduate Assistant from Career Services, Samantha Beck, they were instrumental in helping rebuild homes in the area much to the delight of the residents there. Samantha was helped by 2 SU faculty/staff supervisors in what was a true display of how much SU students care about others.
