2018 SpringART 129-001INTRO TO DIGITAL PHOTOG
Introductory level course designed to explore fundamentals of composition using digital photography and related support technology. Stresses the application of the elements of design and the principles of composition through traditional photographic assignments and is appropriate for non-art majors, art minors, and art majors in all tracks except photography. Instruction includes use of a digital camera and basic image manipulation programs. Students must provide their own camera. Prerequisite: ART 121 for B.A. and B.F.A. Six hours per week. Meets General Education III (Prior to Fall 2008 met General Education IB). BA/BFA Prereq: Art 121.

2018 SpringART 359-001ADVANCED DIGITAL PHOTOG
Upper level course that covers advanced projects in photography using digital technology. Students should have a basic understanding of photographic composition and of basic computer skills required for digital imaging. A digital camera is required. May be repeated once for a maximum of 8 credits. Prerequisites: ART 129 or ART 229 or permission of instructor. Six hours per week.
