Meet Our Staff
The staff consists of a psychologist, counselors, social workers, interns, and support staff with diverse backgrounds. Members of our staff include:

Dr. Scott became Director of the Counseling Center at Salisbury University in 2007. Prior to that she was Director of Counseling Centers at Rochester Institute of Technology and State University of New York at Buffalo. She served as Training Director in the Counseling Center and as a faculty member in the Counseling Psychology Program at Virginia Commonwealth University. Dr. Scott is a licensed psychologist in Maryland and earned her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Utah in 1985.
Nikki Allen Dyer, LCSW-C, firstname.lastname@example.org
Nikki joined the counseling staff in 2014. She was a graduate intern in the Counseling Center and earned a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Salisbury University in May 2013. In 2000, she earned a Master’s Degree in Higher Education Administration from the College of William and Mary and has previously worked in multiple areas of Student Affairs to include SU’s Office of Student Disability Support Services.

Dawn joined our staff in August 2005. She completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology at Salisbury University in 1996 and earned her graduate degree in social work from the University of Maryland, Baltimore in 1998. She joined the Counseling Center after working at the Worcester County Health Department for nine years providing therapy to children, adolescents, and families. In addition, Dawn oversees the Training Program and provides clinical supervision for graduate interns seeking careers in counseling, psychology, and social work. She is registered with the Maryland Board of Social Work Examiners to practice clinical supervision for advanced licensure.

Cody joined the Counseling Center staff at Salisbury University in 2016. He earned his Master’s Degree in College Counseling Mental Health from Youngstown State University in Ohio. Prior to joining the SU counseling staff he was working at an outpatient agency providing drug and alcohol counseling to adults in Pennsylvania.

Cassidy joined the counseling staff in 2015. She earned her undergraduate degree in psychology at Millersville University in 2009, and her graduate degree in clinical mental health counseling from Shippensburg University in 2014. She was working at an outpatient agency providing mental health and drug and alcohol counseling to clients of all ages in Pennsylvania before joining our staff.

Eleanor has been with the Counseling Center (CC) since 1995. The CC and the DRC share reception so she facilitates clients' completion of initial paperwork prior to intake, scheduling appointments and providing information to others for both departments. Eleanor also coordinates testing appointments and proctors tests for students registered with the Disability Resource Center who are approved for testing accommodations.

Fawne joined the Disability Resource Center (DRC) staff in March 2018. DRC shares reception with the CC so she assists in facilitating client's initial paperwork prior to their intake, schedules appointments, and provides information about the Counseling Center and DRC to those inquiring about services. Fawne also provides administrative support to DRC for student accommodations and resources.
