Summer Enrichment Academies @ SU

Welcome to Salisbury University’s Summer Enrichment Academies!  We offer a variety of educational programs for students in high school, middle school and elementary school. In addition, programs for K-12 teachers are also available. Learners of all ages are engaged throughout the summer, expanding their skills in the sciences, the arts, leadership and communication. Central to all programs is a commitment to academic excellence in the supportive environment of the Salisbury University campus. SU’s Summer Enrichment Academies encourage students to shine boldly as they learn and grow.

Registration remains open for the Summer Enrichment Academies. The first Youth Innovation Academy is June 22, 2020.

Youth Innovation Academy

The Youth Innovation Academy provides hands-on experience and promotes interests in leadership, communication and technology. The camp enhances leadership confidence and expands technology skills through applied projects tackling real community issues. Programs are for middle school students in grades 6-8 and include camps for both boys and girls. Learn more about cost, dates and program options.

Summer Arts Academy

The Summer Arts Academy allows students to use their creativity and expand their skills across a variety of performing and visual arts areas including dance, technical theater, creative writing, music theater, ceramic sculpture, drama, music production, glass and orchestra. Leadership Academy

The Leadership Academy builds teamwork and leadership skills through instructional sessions on outdoor leadership and personal development. The program encourages area youth to assume leadership positions in the community and schools. Programs are for high school students in grades 9-12. SU Art Galleries Programs

SU Art Galleries Programs introduce a world of artistic possibilities to young students. Past events have included a nature installation camp, where students combined natural materials found at the SU campus arboretum with art supplies such as paint, clay, wood, cellophane and polish to make installation pieces. A variety of programs are available for students ages 6-15, as well as programs for special needs children ranging from elementary to high school. Learn more about cost, dates and program options.
