Salisbury University is a vibrant learning community with many hidden treasures on campus. Discover SU is a chance to learn more about the various departments that make up the University. Each month we offer a tour of a specific area. Tours are free; we ask that individuals RSVP. Meeting location will be sent with confirmation email. Thursday, March 21, 4:30 – 5:30 pm
University Archives & Special Collections. Join University Archivist, Ian Post, for a walking tour through the history of the Salisbury University Libraries. Ian will highlight the University’s library housed in Holloway Hall, followed by Blackwell Hall before and after renovation, and then current libraries in the Patricia R. Guerrieri Academic Commons and the Curriculum Resource Center (aka children’s library) in Conway Hall.

Richard A. Henson School of Science & Technology. Join Interim Dean, Michael Scott, to tour the University’s Science & Technology Center. Meet the professors and instructors working on SU’s exciting new projects, tour the labs and discuss the ways that Salisbury University is working with science/technology leaders and the community to find solutions to challenges on the Eastern Shore and beyond.
Thursday, May 16, 3:00 – 4:30 pm
SU Arboretum. Join Horticulturist Will Lowery for a guided tour of the University’s collection of woody and herbaceous plants. The American Public Garden Association (APGA) granted the University Arboretum status in 1988 and it has become an integral part of the 200-acre campus. It provides an attractive landscape setting conducive to both education and research.
